A 15-amino-acid synthetic peptide derived from a protective protein found in gastric juice. BPC-157 promotes angiogenesis, modulates growth hormone receptors, and accelerates healing of tendons, ligaments, muscles, and gut tissue. Neuroprotective effects and interactions with dopaminergic and serotonergic systems documented.
Dosing & Protocols
Typical protocol: 200-500mcg/day, subcutaneous or intramuscular injection near the injury site. Some protocols use twice-daily dosing. Cycle: up to 90 days then 30-day washout. TB-500 combination common for synergistic healing.
Side Effects
Generally well tolerated. Reported: dizziness at higher doses, nausea, temporary drop in blood pressure. Rare serious adverse events at research doses.
Interactions & Contraindications
No well-documented interactions. Theoretical caution with anticoagulants (angiogenic effects). Not recommended with active cancer.
Storage
